The Concentus Choir is an ambitious amateur choir with a focus on the classical genres. However, the choir often experiments with a varied repertoire. We have worked with and performed choral works such as the requiem from Fauré, stabat mater from poulenc and a symphony of psalms from stravinsky. the choir has also worked together with various acknowledged musicians.

 

The choir is led by musician and composer Toke Brorson Odin, who, apart from his work with the choir, also composes music for movies. Every season the choir rehearses a new and challenging repertoire, which we perform at both our own concerts and as part of bigger events. 

 

Apart from the music, the choir puts a lot of effort into the social aspect of being in a choir through cosy activities, our semi annual choir weekend and we also like to gather after rehearsals.
